Wow. Not that the fashion from the Red Carpet was horrible but celebrities really flexed their fashion muscles at the Vanity Fair After Party and Elton John's AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party. Of course I've made a list of my favorites, yes, in particular order.
Here's who made my Top 10

10. Ziyi Zhang
Elie Saab
I find slate blue uncharacteristically feminine and soft. The lace and gem detail on the shoulder and back and the high slit add a subtle sex appeal to the dress.

9. Kate Beckinsale
Atelier Versace
I hesitated to put Kate on the list but I was intrigued by this print. I also adore the sheer trim detail.

8. Kate Bosworth
Prabal Gurung
I love the contrast of a long sleeve and a short hem. The gem and lace detail conveniently placed to cover up her lady bits is sexy and classy at the same time.

7. Katy Perry
Blumarine
Love that Katy manages to play down her bright blue smurf hair with soft feminine silhouettes.

6. Anna Paquin
Pucci
Another nod to high brow trend with beautiful sovereign gold print. Again long sleeve and a short hem stays lovely and classy.

5. Ziyi Zhang (again!)
Elie Saab
Okay, not an after party look. More like a Pre-Party look. But you have to admit, blue is ZZ's color, no?

4. Kim Kardashian
Alaia
A simple black gown never fails and the platinum and black bangles add a nice touch . Love the perforated detail on the bottom half of the dress.

3. Dita Von Teese
Jenny Packham
Another blush gown done right. The strong armored shoulder is a pleasant contrast to the soft elegance of the dress.

2. Miley Cyrus
Roberto Cavalii
Very Old Hollywood! Love to see a young girl with an old soul.

1. Jennifer Lopez
Zuhair Murad
Even in a similar silhouette to her red carpet dress, JLo manages again to snag the title of best dressed. The strong shoulders are driving me a wild! Impressive for someone who wasn't even nominated.
